Life Investments and Missed Opportunities
Dealing With Missed Opportunities For Success
Sitting here with a glass of white wine, relaxing and reflecting on the last 10 years of my life.
I have come through a great deal over the past 10 years. I have lost some of the closest people to me. I have struggled through multiple traumatic life events, but all of that is supposed to end for good starting 2018. Apparently there is some major astrological reason that all of these things have occurred. Now, there are life changing events afoot, and I can expect a miraculous turn around in my life. This pinnacle point in my horoscope has concerned me for many years. I have often wondered, when the time comes will I be ready? Will I see the opportunities in front of me? Since, the only clue I have about this time are recollections from 1982-1983. I remember those years. They were great. I was thin. I ran 7 miles a day. I was in mid-management in a large corporation. I made friends and partied a lot. I was young. Life was ahead of me. I was clueless to what I was doing and had no particular life plan. I had went to college to work in accounting but I quickly changed my mind.
I realized some time ago, that the biggest issue I face is an inability to see what is right in front of me. How can I explain what I mean so you can understand this... Imagine, a blind man. A blind man walking down a crowded street. What can the blind man see? Imagine, there are stores and stalls all about and the crowd is thick with shoppers at the Holiday season. Gorgeous displays are shining brightly around him, but what can he see? The blind man can see nothing. He knows that life is bustling all around him, but what does he really see? This weird feeling of mental blindness has affected me all my life. It is not that I am slow or stupid. I am just blind to certain things and this has cost me dearly in life.
There is so much abundance all around us for the taking, but it is hard to grasp what one can not see. It is a frustrating feeling to know that the gold is there, but you just can not seem to see it or grasp it. How does a person grab the gold ring if they can not see it when it is right in front of their very eyes?
Astrologically: The reason for this phenomenon is Neptune and Planets in Pisces.
In my case, I have missed several mega opportunities. This seems to happen on a continual basis. The eyes were open but I was still unable to see.
- In the 1980's I had an opportunity to invest in Cell Phones. Who knew? I missed it.
- In the 1990's I had an opportunity to invest in i-Phones. Who knew? I missed it.
In fact, when my own company Get Me A Real Job first came out in 2006, it was receiving 60,000 hits a week. I did not actually know what I was doing. When I had to work as an independent recruiter, I lost touch with my website. By the time I resurfaced in 2015, the entire landscape had changed. I lost over 30,000 old leads, because they went stale and obsolete.
Now every lead is cherished. With just a little under 1300 leads in my autoresponder, I have grown to respect each of my subscribers now. Years ago, a person could quickly throw up a website, add products, and get sales. Not any more. Now, internet marketers must be more savvy than the day before to keep up with the ever changing trends online.
During a recent discussion with my daughter, we discussed the value of reading the newspaper each day to stay abreast of current happenings. I have an online subscription, plus a keyword search service to make sure I am current on particular topics throughout the day.
So what is the big word on Investment Opportunities?
Who knows at the moment. There seems to be a HUGE push toward anything Bitcoin these days, but be careful. Do not get sucked into the crazy, false opportunities out there. I went into a group on Facebook recently that was nothing more than a barrage of questionable bitcoin opportunities. So try to steer clear of them if you can.
I have no clue what THE NEXT BIG THING will be. However, I am in a constant state of readiness. I am prepared to pounce when the next big thing catches the imagination of millions. I suggest that you do the same or find later that you missed out on a lifetime opportunity.
