Day 135 of Dance Challenge

I have not posted about the dance challenge lately, but YES. I am still dancing every single day. If I miss a day, I double up the next day. Those are the rules and I have stuck to them for 135 days. It is strange to think that it is almost April 15th, 2018. I started this journey on December 1st, 2017. If I could point to any lesson that I have learned over these past 4 months it is that we MUST move EVERY SINGLE DAY! It does not matter WHAT you do exactly. Just do something. Do something that makes your body smile. I know that sounds silly... but when you are doing something good for your body, you begin to experience this warm inner joy. I call it "Body Smiling". It is because your body is happy down to the very molecule level that you are taking care of it.

Here is an example of what I mean by "BODY SMILING". Have you ever been REALLY thirsty. I mean so thirsty that you just grab a bottle of water and start gulping it down? I get like that during or after a workout at times, but if you have ever been that thirsty, you know what I am talking about. Well one day I woke up thirsty like that. I was so parched, it was hard to talk so I got a bottle of ice cold water and as I sat down to drink it. I could feel the cool liquid as it coursed through my body. I felt it go down my throat, and esophagus. I felt it hit my tummy area, and I felt it tingle down inside my thighs to my legs. When it happened... I swear I felt my the very cells of my body dancing and rejoicing. High-Five-ing each other, screaming "THANK YOU ADRIENNE!! We are saved!!!" LOL!

I know I have a vivid imagination, but you get the point. Our body SMILES. It reacts to us taking care of it, nurturing it, pampering it, watering it, and moving it. Our bodies speak to us. We simply have to take the time to LISTEN to the messages it sends to us.  Sending out much love and light to all!
